Freelance Festival Marketplace (2020)
I designed and led this program as an alternative to structured networking for the Freelance Fest 2020, a community-building event for freelancers, consultants, and clients around Philadelphia. I was tasked with getting attendees talking in a game-like activity. We were also able to use the activity to capture invaluable data about our attendees.
There were over 300 participants for this activity. Small groups were led through a reflective exercise. Each group member was asked to respond to a prompt. They were also asked to analyze each other’s answers and consider their dynamic as a group.
I asked each group to record their findings. We used the collected responses as feedback for the event.
